Project Title: Under-Roof Batting Cage for Jessamine County Youth Baseball 400 park drive Nicholasville KY 40356

Project Overview: Jessamine County Youth Baseball is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of an under-roof batting cage at our facility. The structure will include a concrete pad, truss-supported tin roof, lighting, electrical installations, and netting. This facility will provide a safe and high-quality training environment for our players.

Scope of Work:

Concrete Pad:

Dimensions: 50 feet wide by 72 feet long

Thickness: 4 inches

The concrete pad must be level and properly cured to support the structure and equipment.

Structure:

Posts: 30 posts, each 6x6 in size, set securely for the base of the structure.

Roof: The roof will be a 4-foot truss-supported design with a tin covering.

Bottom Supports: 2x6 bottom members.

Top Supports: 2x4 top members for additional stability.

Roof Covering: Tin roofing that is durable and weather-resistant.

Lighting and Electrical:

LED Lights: 8 LED lights, evenly spaced throughout the structure for sufficient illumination.

Electrical Outlets: Two (2) electrical outlets, located on the outside of each bay (total of 4 outlets).

Ensure all electrical work is done per code and is functional for outdoor conditions.

Carpet and Netting:

Indoor/Outdoor Carpet: Install high-quality carpet that is durable and able to withstand outdoor conditions.

Netting: The contractor is responsible for hanging pre-purchased netting securely within the batting cage.

Insurance and Liability:

The selected contractor must provide proof of a minimum $1,000,000 insurance policy covering the project, workers, and any potential damages or liability.

Timeline:

The project must be completed within [6 months] of contract award.

Work can begin once a contract is signed, and all necessary materials are secured.

Proposal Submission Requirements:

Provide a detailed proposal including a breakdown of costs (materials, labor, equipment, etc.).

Include proof of insurance with the required coverage.

Provide estimated timelines and completion dates.

Include any warranty information for the structure, roofing, and electrical work.
